To review current university major preparation information, Login to ASSIST at:

The LBCC Transfer Curriculum guides are currently under review. However, in the absence of these transfer curriculum guides, the information is readily available on the ASSIST website, which provides the most up-to-date transfer information available, and which is the Official Repository of Transfer and Articulation information for the State of California. On this site you will find major preparation as well as course-to-course articulation agreements between California community colleges and universities which are part of the University of California (UC) system and the California State University (CSU) system. In addition to articulation agreements, ASSIST also includes information about UC transferable courses, UC course limitations, links to community college websites, Other available information found in ASSIST includes: UC transferable courses, UC course limitation information, community college CSUGE-Breadth and IGETC certification patterns, a link to the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU), CSU mentor etc. These are only a few of the many links and available information provided on the Articulation System Stimulating Inter-institutional Student Transfer (ASSIST) website. The web address for ASSIST is: http://www.assist.org/
While ASSIST does not post major preparation requirements for private and out-of-state schools, it does provide a link to the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU), which will either have articulation agreements posted for LBCC or contact information for further research.
Students planning to transfer to a UC, CSU, Private, OR out-of-state university MUST consult an academic counselor prior to determining the major preparation requirements or the completion of certification for CSUGE-BREADTH or IGETC. Please contact the Counseling Department at LAC or PCC to make an appointment with an academic counselor.
